The Leake Academy Rebels will face off against the Pillow Academy Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Leake Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5 points per game this season.

Leake Academy is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Simpson Academy just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to the Cougars.

Despite their defeat, Leake Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Addie Crowe, who went 5-for-12 on her way to 16 points in addition to five rebounds and four blocks, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Jenna Allen, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 13 points and seven boards.

Meanwhile, Pillow Academy was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Kirk Academy 53-26. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Pillow Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.2 points. As for Leake Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.

Leake Academy strolled past Pillow Academy in their previous meeting last Monday by a score of 70-54. Will the Rebels repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
