The Rubidoux Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their tenth straight loss. They fell 73-64 to Indian Springs. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rubidoux in their matchups with Indian Springs: they've now lost nine in a row.
Indian Springs had a senior duo take command as Jordan Culberson dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds and Adorian Cherry scored 25 points along with six assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Cherry has scored at least a third of Indian Springs' points. Nubian Nelson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Rubidoux bumped their record down to 3-19 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Indian Springs, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.
Rubidoux will head out on the road to face off against Jurupa Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indian Springs, they will face off against Fontana at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Fontana has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 371 points over their last six contests.
