The Philip Scotties lost against the Faith Longhorns back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Philip fell 52-40 to Faith.
Philip lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Drew Terkildsen, who scored 12 points along with three steals. The contest was Terkildsen's third in a row with at least ten points. Mattisen Reckling was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Philip's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Faith, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Philip will be home for the holidays to greet Kadoka at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Faith, they will play host again and welcome Dupree, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dupree has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
