Providence Cristo Rey not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 4th (when they won 58-23). They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 56-24 win over the Washington Catholic Cardinals. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wolves as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Providence Cristo Rey's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Washington Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Cristo Rey and Christ the King will compete for holiday cheer at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Washington Catholic, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eminence at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
