Basketball Recap: Mountain Iron-Buhl Skates Past Fond Du Lac Ojibwe O with Ease

Mountain Iron-Buhl waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Fond du Lac Ojibwe O Ogichida 80-49. The Rangers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Mountain Iron-Buhl had a senior duo take command as Tj Duchamp went 7 of 12 from beyond the arc on his way to 35 points and seven assists and Chris King almost dropped a double-double on 32 points and nine boards. The game was King's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Micaden Clines, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Mountain Iron-Buhl smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.

Mountain Iron-Buhl's record is now 16-4. As for Fond du Lac Ojibwe O, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Cromwell the next time they take the court. Mountain Iron-Buhl will host Cromwell at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, while Fond du Lac Ojibwe O will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
