Despite the loss, St. Paul Lutheran still got an impressive performance from Mia Sherrill, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 13 rebounds. Sherrill has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 19 times she's played. Josie Berkery was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Even though they lost, St. Paul Lutheran were working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
St. Paul Lutheran has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Clearwater, their win bumped their record up to 3-14.
