For the second straight game, Nichols will face off against Bishop Timon-St. Jude. The Vikings will be playing at home against the Tigers at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Nichols is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Nichols will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Friday, then bounced right back against Bishop Timon-St. Jude on Monday. Nichols is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Bishop Timon-St. Jude, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Nichols has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.3 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Bishop Timon-St. Jude struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.8 strikeouts.
