Avilez scored a full 30.8% of Woodlake's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Mario Jimenez, who scored six points.
Laton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Johnathan Garcia, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Garcia is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Cesar Meza was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Woodlake's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Laton, their victory bumped their record up to 1-10.
