The Northland Prep Academy Spartans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Phoenix Christian at home to the tune of 59-22. The high-flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Northland Prep Academy considering their 23-point performance the match before.
Northland Prep Academy had a senior duo take command as Noe Rhon dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds and Nat Auker dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Rhon hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyra Scott, who scored seven points along with five assists and four steals.
Northland Prep Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9. As for Phoenix Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
Northland Prep Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Red Rock at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Red Rock comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. Phoenix Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
