They really took it to Bedford for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-30 victory on the road. Maple Heights has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 22 points or more this season.
Maple Heights was led to victory by Brooklyn Dillard and Treasure Cistrunk. Dillard scored 17 points along with seven assists and five steals, while Cistrunk almost dropped a triple-double on 19 points, 11 rebounds, and nine steals. It was the first time this season that Cistrunk scored 15 or more points. Morgan Wilson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Maple Heights has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Bedford, they dropped their record down to 5-14 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maple Heights will face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Twinsburg presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Mustangs in Ohio (the Tigers are ranked 247th, while the Mustangs are ranked 519th). As for Bedford, they will head out on the road to challenge the Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coventry is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
