Carter Miller posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out five batters over 8.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Miller and Frontier Regional will square off against Taconic at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
