The Keefe Tech Broncos scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Francis Parker Charter Essential School 76-50. Keefe Tech has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season.
It was another big night for George Anastos, who scored 23 points. His trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. anthony Venezia was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds.
Francis Parker Charter Essential School's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Liam Almond, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Almond is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Dee, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Keefe Tech's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Francis Parker Charter Essential School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.
Keefe Tech will head out on the road to face off against Worcester Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Francis Parker Charter Essential School, they will be playing at home against Montachusett RVT at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
