Apollo proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Thomas Nelson Generals 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Generals: they've now won four in a row.

Apollo's win bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Thomas Nelson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Apollo and Thomas Nelson will both be playing Central the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Yellow Jackets at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Generals will head out to face them at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
