Telluride has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  take on the Nucla Mustangs at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Colorado (Telluride is ranked 165th, while Nucla is ranked 180th).
 Even though Telluride has not done well against Mancos recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. Telluride managed a  53-49 victory over Mancos.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Telluride to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Townes Merritt, who  scored 20 points. Merritt is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's  now  scored 15 or more in the last four games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Cash Livermore, who  scored 13 points.
 Meanwhile, Nucla waltzed into their matchup  on Friday with two straight wins  but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy  62-47 victory over Dolores.
 Telluride has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Nucla, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Telluride skirted past Nucla  40-38 in their previous matchup  back in December of 2023. Will Telluride repeat their success,  or does  Nucla have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
