Mojave is 7-1 against Clark since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Mojave will face off against Clark at 3:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Wednesday, Mojave got the win against Valley by a conclusive 13-3. The Rattlers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Emiko-Lin Kalani made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Kalani was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.
In other batting news, Kaylinn Bentley was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing six bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Jadin Broadnax also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Mojave always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .632. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, Clark made easy work of Desert Pines on Thursday and carried off a 19-4 victory. Considering the Chargers have won three contests by more than 14 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Alizon Abad Macedo, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Paola Garcia, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Clark is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. Mojave's record is now 2-4.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Mojave has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .486. However, it's not like Clark struggles in that department as they've averaged .566. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Mojave was able to grind out a solid victory over Clark when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 10-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mojave since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
