The Aucilla Christian Warriors will face off against the Hamilton County Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
If Aucilla Christian beats Hamilton County with 13 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Warriors beat Godby on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-3. Considering the Warriors have won 11 matches by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Collin Campbell made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Aucilla Christian is undefeated when Campbell posts two or more runs, but 7-8 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cooper Wiles, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Demott, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Aucilla Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Godby only posted a batting average of .048.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hamilton County walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over the Scorpions on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.
Jacob Luckette was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Luckette was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Hamilton County got a massive performance out of Braxton Stormant, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Ryan Moody was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.
The win (which was Aucilla Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 13-8. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hamilton County, their win bumped their record up to 5-16.
Aucilla Christian took their victory against Hamilton County when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 13-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
