The Constitution Generals will face off against the Bodine Ambassadors at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bodine will be up against a hot Constitution squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Generals blew past Roxborough 21-11 last Thursday.

Jayden Gordy was a standout: he got on base in five of his six plate appearances with four runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Constitution is 5-2 when Gordy posts two or more runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Wes Dingman, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double.
Constitution kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Bodine had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Simon Gratz a 10-0 shutout on Wednesday. The victory was just business as usual for the Ambassadors, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.
Bodine got a massive performance out of Prince Culpepper, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three runs gave Culpepper a new career-high. Marvin Wells was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs.
Bodine pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Constitution, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Constitution has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Bodine struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Constitution beat Bodine 4-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Generals repeat their success, or do the Ambassadors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
