Neah Bay's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryana Moss, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Moss hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Amber Swan, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds and seven assists.
Coupeville's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-4. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.7 points per game. As for Neah Bay, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
Coupeville the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Concrete at 5:15 p.m. on January 23rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Concrete is ranked 239th, while Coupeville is ranked 223rd). As for Neah Bay, they will head out on the road to take on Forks at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Forks is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.
