On Tuesday, Ellington came up short against Manchester and fell 42-35.
Tiara Tyson had an outrageously good game for Manchester as she dropped a double-double on 29 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was Tyson's third in a row with at least ten points.
Ellington's loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1. As for Manchester, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ellington will be home for the holidays to greet Stonington at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Manchester, they will play host again and welcome Tolland, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
