Basketball Recap: Christian Fellowship Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

Christian Fellowship extended their home winning streak to ten games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Jake Davis. Christian Fellowship blew past the Lighthouse Prep Academy Eagles 78-22 on Thursday thanks in part to Davis, who went 10 for 13 on his way to 24 points and four steals. Davis is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season.

The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Davis, who posted four points in addition to 12 boards and four steals. That's the most boards he has posted since back in February.

Christian Fellowship has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Lighthouse Prep Academy, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Christian Fellowship will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Plaza Heights Christian Academy at 7:15 p.m. on January 14, 2025. Christian Fellowship knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Plaza Heights Christian Academy likes a good challenge. Lighthouse Prep Academy will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Jamestown at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
