Despite the loss, Decatur Eisenhower saw an underclassman step up: Honesti Woodland dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Mae'shell Eskridge was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.
Decatur Eisenhower has not been sharp recently as the team has lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season. As for Mt. Pulaski, their victory bumped their record up to 20-9.

Decatur Eisenhower is coming into the matchup with 12 straight losses on the road, meaning Champaign Central will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. Mt. Pulaski is on the road again on Monday and plays Heyworth at 6:00 p.m. on February 12th.
