Sadly, the Brocton Bulldogs are still looking for their first win of the season after six matches. They were outmatched by Mount Mercy Academy on the road and fell 48-14. Brocton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-2.
Mount Mercy Academy can attribute much of their success to Taylor Jahn, who scored 16 points. It was the first time this season that Jahn scored 15 or more points.
Brocton dropped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mount Mercy Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brocton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Holland at 6:30 p.m. on February 14th. As for Mount Mercy Academy, they will square off against Our Lady of Mercy at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
