Leakey is 1-9 against the Cowboys since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Leakey Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the D'Hanis Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Leakey has struggled recently with ten losses in a row, while the Cowboys will arrive with four straight victories.
Last Friday, Leakey suffered a tough 79-53 loss at the hands of the Angoras. That's two games in a row now that Leakey has lost by exactly 26 points.
Meanwhile, D'Hanis didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Crushers on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 33-29 victory.
Leakey's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-22. As for D'Hanis, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season.
