The Sutton Sammies will stay at home for another game and welcome the Maynard Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on December 27th.
Last Friday, Sutton was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to Prouty.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Chase Gara, who scored 17 points. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cam Benedict, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Maynard waltzed into their matchup Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Quabbin Regional 59-41.
Sutton now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Maynard, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
