The quarterback and receiver duo were originally committed to Miami, which fired head coach Randy Shannon last month.
Landing the duo was a recruiting coup for Cardinals head coach Charlie Strong. He has done a terrific job recruiting the state of Florida, where he has deep coaching roots.
Bridgewater is the No. 96 recruit in the country according to Tom Lemming. He is extremely athletic at the quarterback position, and he has displayed a knack for making big plays during his three years starting for Northwestern, traditionally one of Florida's top programs.
The No. 33-ranked receiver in the nation, Rogers is only 5-9, but he has great speed and has already developed tremendous rapport with Bridgewater.
Bridgewater and Rogers are big additions to a recruiting class that already features the likes of
Damarcus Smith,
DeVante Parker, and
Charles Gaines Jr.
