Boise faced Capital in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Brave came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of  11-8. Winning may never get old, but the Brave sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Kamryn Newbery was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lily Binford, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Boise  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They are 7-1 when  they post two or more  strikeouts.
Boise's record now sits at 11-6. As for Capital,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 11-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boise will head out to  challenge Mountain View  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Capital, they will take on Borah at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Golden Eagles are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on  a  seven-game losing streak.
