Kamryn Newbery was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Binford, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Boise hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 7-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Boise's record now sits at 11-6. As for Capital, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boise will head out to challenge Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
