Kaplan entered their tilt with Stanley on Friday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Panthers. Considering the Pirates have won 13 matches by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaplan's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Stanley, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4.

Kaplan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against West Ouachita on the 21st. As for Stanley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-10 win against Iowa on the 22nd.
