Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Union

Union waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Manti Templars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Union was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 22-25, 25-13, 25-11.

Aliah Martin was nothing short of spectacular: she had 19 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests. Brinady Lamb also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Union was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matches.

Union's win bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Manti, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Union has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Duchesne on the 15th. As for Manti, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Carbon on the 15th.
