When it comes to explaining why Gray Collegiate Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Braylhan Thomas. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with five rebounds. Lamont (lj) Britt was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Gray Collegiate Academy's defeat ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 23-6. As for Andrew Jackson, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-3.
Gray Collegiate Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
