While it was all tied up 29-29 at halftime, the Inglemoor Vikings were not quite the Issaquah Eagles's equal in the second half on Friday. Inglemoor fell just short of Issaquah by a score of 54-52. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Inglemoor in their matchups with Issaquah: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Vikings players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reuhen Bhalod, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. That was a full 44.2% of Inglemoor's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kieran Clasen, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Inglemoor has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Issaquah, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Redmond the next time they take the court. Issaquah will host Redmond at 8:10 p.m. on Tuesday, while Inglemoor will head out to face them at 8:10 p.m. on Friday.
