After a string of three wins, Dunellen's good fortune finally ran out two weeks ago. They suffered a grim 12-38 defeat to Butler. Dunellen were down by 0-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Last Friday, Bound Brook put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered South Hunterdon 43-7. With Bound Brook ahead 30-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Bound Brook's win lifted them to 4-2 while Dunellen's loss dropped them down to 4-2. In their win, Bound Brook relied heavily on senior David Lepoidevin, who punched in 2 rushing TDs and threw 2 TDs. Dunellen will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
