Niles North is a perfect 10-0 against Maine East since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Vikings will head out to face off against the Blue Demons at 5:00 p.m. Niles North will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Niles North saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Evanston.

Niles North not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Evanston between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Maine East beat Elk Grove 2-0 on Wednesday.

While Maine East won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22.

Niles North's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Maine East, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Niles North was able to grind out a solid win over Maine East in their previous meeting back in April, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
