Riverview Sarasota and Sarasota are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Rams will head out on the road to take on the Sailors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverview Sarasota will be strutting in after a victory while Sarasota will be coming in after a defeat.
Riverview Sarasota's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over Naples. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Mason Peluso tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over 4.1 innings pitched. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.
At the plate, Andrew Rhymestine was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He also launched a home run, marking his first of the season. Alastair Simonson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Sarasota's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.
Sarasota also got a good showing from Cesar Garmendia, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Garmendia has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Sarasota saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Svenson, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.
Sarasota's loss dropped their record down to 19-5-1. As for Riverview Sarasota, their record is now 7-17.
Riverview Sarasota might still be hurting after the 9-1 defeat they got from Sarasota in their previous matchup back in February. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
