Troy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Fairborn Skyhawks. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season,  with their most recent  victory being a  3-0  win  on October 7th.
 While Troy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-9,  26-24.
Troy was led to victory by  Caylee Workman and  Amber Koesters.  Workman  had 15  digs and five  aces, while  Koesters  had four  digs and three  aces. Workman has been hot recently, having  posted 11 or more  digs the last four times she's  played.  Audrey Starnes also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  block of the season.
 They weren't the only good servers: Troy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 16  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since back in September.
Troy now  has a winning record of 12-11. As for Fairborn, their defeat was  their eighth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 1-18.
 Troy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  loss against Mount Notre Dame on the 25th. Fairborn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
