The North Bullitt Eagles will head out on the road to  take on  the Spencer County Bears at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  both teams will really light up the scoreboard.

  Amree Hammons spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Alia Pearce was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bella Markwell, who  scored four  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Spencer County, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. They came out on top against Shelby County on Thursday by a score of  12-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The  win was a breath of fresh air for Spencer County as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Spencer County also let their pitcher toss all six innings played and she was also dialed-in:  Riley Booth gave up two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on four hits. Those six  innings set a new season-high mark for her.
 On the hitting side,  Brooklyn Hunt was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Lilly Long, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 North Bullitt has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record  this season. As for Spencer County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
