Crest Ridge waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 56-15 win over the Smithton Tigers. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crest Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kayley Marten, who went 8 for 13 on her way to 17 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brilynn Fleming, who posted 11 points along with six assists and four steals.

Crest Ridge was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Crest Ridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.1 points per game. As for Smithton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
