After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Princeville, the Bureau Valley Storm were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Orion and snuck past 50-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bureau Valley also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
It was another big night for Kate Salisbury, who scored 18 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Neuhalfen, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Bureau Valley's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Orion, they are on a 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-25.
Bureau Valley will head out on the road to challenge the Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Bede will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak. As for Orion, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Boilermakers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
