Flagler entered their tilt with Arickaree on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They took down the Arickaree Bison 39-24. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 47-43 win the Bison walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Flagler to victory, but perhaps none more so than Belle Schier, who posted ten points and eight rebounds. Schier is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Sydnie Berry was another key player, putting up ten points.

Flagler smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in six consecutive games.

Despite the loss, Arickaree still got an impressive performance from Ja'Niya Smith, who had 11 points along with six boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Paytin Villarreal, who posted three points and three steals.

Flagler's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-1. As for Arickaree, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flagler will head out to take on Deer Trail at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Deer Trail: 26, Flagler: 25.2) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Arickaree, they will head out on the road to face off against Peetz at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Arickaree is facing Peetz at the right time seeing as Peetz is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
