The Enumclaw Hornets won the last time they faced the Kennedy Catholic Lancers, and things went their way on Friday too. Enumclaw came out on top in a nail-biter against Kennedy Catholic and snuck past 43-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Enumclaw.
Several Lancers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addie McDonough, who scored 12 points. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Kathryn Schroeder, who scored 13 points.
Kennedy Catholic struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Enumclaw now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Kennedy Catholic, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-5.
