The Oasis Sharks were the 51-42 winner over the Bonita Springs Bullsharks when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Oasis had to suffer through a rough 43-3 loss at the hands of Bonita Springs. Oasis was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-2.
Bonita Springs found their leader in underclassman Karli Kalsow, who scored 10 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyleigh Weick, who scored 7 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Oasis and nudges their season record down to 0-3-1. As for Bonita Springs, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Oasis' road trip will continue as they head out to face Donahue Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on December 11th. As for Bonita Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Estero at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Estero presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bonita Springs in Florida (Estero is ranked 170th, while Bonita Springs is ranked 435th).
