Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monona Grove). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Whitewater Whippets 82-42. That's more bragging rights for the Silver Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Monona Grove's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Whitewater, their defeat was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monona Grove will take on Fort Atkinson in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Monona Grove's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Whitewater and East Troy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
