Rio Rancho not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 26, 2024. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Piedra Vista Panthers 82-37. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 24 points or more this season.

Noah Lovato had a dynamite game for Rio Rancho, almost dropping a double-double with 21 points and nine boards. That's the most rebounds Lovato has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayden Richardson, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 10 points.

Rio Rancho smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups.

Despite the defeat, Piedra Vista had strong showings from Darian Watson, who scored ten points, and Juaquin Jojola, who had nine points. Jojola continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Rio Rancho's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Piedra Vista, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-18.

Rio Rancho has already played their next contest, a 79-76 victory against Cleveland on the 21st. As for Piedra Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-33 loss against Farmington on the 21st.
