Murphysboro won the last time they faced Carbondale and things went their way on Thursday too. The Red Devils walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Terriers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

The win didn't come easy: Carbondale scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20.

Shameria Joshua-Ayers paced Murphysboro's offense, picking up four kills. Joshua-Ayers got some help from Macey Alexander and her ten assists.
