The Bradford Railroaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They fell just short of Tri-County North by a score of 56-53. Bradford lost against Tri-County North in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 35-18 score last time.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tri-County North to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bella Cherry, who scored 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hannah Webster, who scored 18 points.
Bradford bumped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.7 points per game. As for Tri-County North, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.
Coincidentally, Bradford and Tri-County North will both be playing Preble Shawnee the next time they take the court. Tri-County North will head out to face Preble Shawnee at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Bradford will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
