Despite the defeat, Midlothian Heritage had strong showings from Grace Sweeney, who scored nine points, and Ava Batty, who scored nine points. Sweeney scored a full 26.5% of Midlothian Heritage's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Berumen, who scored eight points.
Midlothian Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Episcopal, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
Midlothian Heritage will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Nacogdoches at 3:30 p.m. on December 28th. Episcopal and Richardson will round out the year against one another at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at.
