The Faith Baptist School Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Seaside Christian Academy Fighting Marlins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Faith Baptist School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
Faith Baptist School took care of business in their home opener (and then some). They blew past Fairwinds Christian 51-16 at home. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up seven more assists than your opponent, as Faith Baptist School did.
Among those leading the charge was Brenna Binkley, who scored 15 points along with five assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Conway, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Seaside Christian Academy suffered a tough 29-9 loss at the hands of Worcester Prep on Wednesday. Seaside Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Faith Baptist School's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Seaside Christian Academy, they bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
