Legacy Charter has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge The Orangewood Christian Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Legacy Charter will be strutting in after a win while Orangewood Christian will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Legacy Charter got themselves on the board against Bell Creek Academy, but Bell Creek Academy never followed suit. They walked away with a 7-0 victory over the Panthers.
Legacy Charter's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Bryce St. Louis and his two sacks.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 66 points the game before, Orangewood Christian were a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by Covenant Day on the road and fell 34-6. Orangewood Christian was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Legacy Charter's win on Friday bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Orangewood Christian, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Legacy Charter suffered a grim 37-12 defeat to Orangewood Christian when the teams last played back in September of 2018. Thankfully for Legacy Charter, Anthony Brown (who rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
