For the second straight game, Gallatin will face off against Skyview. The Raptors are taking a road trip to challenge the Falcons at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gallatin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Gallatin is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Montana's top teams: Skyview, who was ranked 25th at the time (Gallatin was ranked 12th). The Raptors never let the Falcons get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Raptors in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

Olivia Klemann made a big impact no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Zoe Bassham was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. Adyson Ryles also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Gallatin's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Skyview, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Skyview's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Gallatin has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Skyview, though, as they've been averaging 10 hits. Given Gallatin's sizable advantage in that area, the Falcons will need to find a way to close that gap.
