The Mansueto Leopards's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Baker Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on December 20th. Baker took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Mansueto, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Mansueto beat Noble Street College Prep 20-10. That looming 20-10 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Mansueto yet this season.
Meanwhile, Baker was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 43-38 to Muchin College Prep. Baker has not had much luck with Muchin College Prep recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Serenity Curry, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. She scored a full 44.7% of Baker's points, the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Destiny Davis, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Mansueto's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Baker, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
