Basketball Recap: Richmond Hill Comes Up Short

Richmond Hill saw some tournament action on Monday. They fell 55-46 to the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers.

Craig Battle was his usual excellent self, putting up 22 points and four steals for McIntosh County Academy. Mj Quarterman was another key player, posting seven points and seven rebounds.

Richmond Hill has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for McIntosh County Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
